Does Swiftcell work with my version of Excel?

Swiftcell runs as an Office Add-in in the Excel taskpane (Windows only). A Microsoft 365 subscription is recommended for the best experience. It needs an active internet connection to sync your library.

What happens when my 14-day trial ends?

You'll be asked to choose a plan. If you don't, your account pauses — your saved components are never deleted.

What's the difference between Starter and Pro?

Starter gives you up to 50 saved components and access to community assets. Pro expands this to 250 components, unlocks the full professionally curated library, and adds team sharing.

How do I manage or change my subscription?

Open your Profile within the add-in and choose “Manage Billing” to open the secure Stripe customer portal. From there you can update your payment method, switch plans, or cancel your subscription.

What are command strings?

Command strings let you trigger any Swiftcell action by typing a short command directly into an Excel cell (e.g. ;;hdr format, ;;i cork). They’re fully customisable — use whatever natural language makes sense to you.

Does this work for the whole team?

Yes. The Pro plan includes team sharing — publish components to teammates so your formatting standards and model building blocks stay consistent across the org.

Is my Excel data secure?

Swiftcell only stores the components you explicitly save — these are kept securely in your Swiftcell account. Your full workbook contents are never uploaded; only the components you choose to save are stored.

Can I export or delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Visit Settings within the add-in to export all of your data as JSON, or to delete your account. Account deletion is permanent and removes all associated data within 30 days.

Can I use Swiftcell offline?

The taskpane requires an internet connection to sync your library. Your locally saved commands still work offline.

Question 11

The add-in isn’t loading. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

Make sure you have a stable internet connection, since Swiftcell needs network access. Try closing and reopening Excel, or clearing the Office cache. If it still won’t load, contact us through the support form and we’ll help you out.
